FIREARMS
Definition of Handgun verse Long Gun
LOCAL PICKUP FOR GUNBROKER AUCTIONS:
Firearms can only be Redeemed by the Person who originally made the Loan.  Before a firearm(s) can be paid and returned to the customer, He/She must fill out a ATF Form 4473 and Pass a FBI NICS background check.  A customer could be Delayed up to 5 business days during the background check and cannot take possession until that period ends or gets Proceeded by NICS.  We do not charge extra for the Delayed Period.
WHO CAN DO LOANS ON FIREARMS IN INDIANA?

HANDGUN: Indiana Residents with a valid Indiana Drivers License or ID card can make a handgun Loan.
LONGGUN: Indiana Residents or Residents of a Bordering State with a valid State Issued Drivers                              License/ID card. 
PISTOL: The term “Pistol” means a weapon originally designed, made, and intended to fire a projectile (bullet) from one or more barrels when held in one hand

RIFLE: The term “Rifle” means a weapon designed or redesigned, made or remade, and intended to be fired from the shoulder and designed or redesigned and made or remade to use the energy of the explosive in a fixed metallic cartridge to fire only a single projectile through a rifled bore for each single pull of the trigger.
  •     Barrel must measure 16in or more (measured from bolt face to end of barrel)
  •     Minimum total length  must equal 26in and include detachable or folding stock

SHOTGUN: The term “Shotgun” means a weapon designed or redesigned, made or remade, and intended to be fired from the shoulder, and designed or redesigned and made or remade to use the energy of the explosive in a fixed shotgun shell to fire through a smooth bore either a number of ball shot or a single projectile for each single pull of the trigger.
  •     Barrel must measure 18in or more (measured from bolt face to end of barrel)
  •     Minimum total length must equal 26in and include detachable or folding stock


Rifles, shotguns, and Pistols can be picked up Local by Indiana residents only. We no longer do local pickup for bordering states. 4473 and background checks are done in store. Delayed background checks require a buyer to wait up to 3 business days before taking possession. Transfer date provided by NICS. All other firearms transactions must be transferred to a valid FFL dealer and we require a copy of their license for our records. NO EXCEPTIONS! Additional info can be found on ATF’s website. If not sure ask before you bid. Firearms are not available for in store viewing. Local pickup is not available on Mondays.
